Overload

Overload is a browser-based RPG set in the modern day. Unlike many games, in Overload your character has very basic needs and wants that need to be periodically fulfilled (like eating and sleeping), but other than taking care of those, you're pretty much entirely free to pave your own way in game. There are a multitude of resources to collect, stats to train and collectibles to gather. There is no preset path, and no one direction you should take.

In Overload, like in many other games, you have the option to earn money, hone certain skills, take courses, and even make investments, all with the goal of giving yourself an edge over other players. Though all players start roughly equal, the game is such that very quickly players can distinguish themselves from each other. Development on the game only began in early April, so new features are constantly being added, and existing ones are always being improved.
